Working with fleece — the raw wool — is magic. You work with these natural materials using your bare hands. The result is a chair inlay, wall piece, or small rug. In this workshop I will teach the old craft of felting as well how to compose a felted artwork with different kinds of raw fleeces. We will cover: laying out the base and the fleece, the wetting and felting, the cleaning, and the styling. Because we work in a small group of 12 participants, there’ll be plenty of time to connect and to answer your questions. The workshop takes about 4.5 hours with a half an hour break halfway through. If you decide to join, I will provide a list of materials needed.
